"Hi, my name is Gail Hoffman and I’m in, I live in North Reddington Beach, Florida and on behalf of Expert Village I am going to demonstrate how to make Italian Crème Cake. Okay, to begin with this cake we are going to cream the butter. I have one stick of butter, and I am going to mix with that two cups of granulated sugar and we are going to put the little collar on and the purpose of creaming the butter is to add some air to it, to help leaven the cake. So you want to use a nice medium speed. I am also using some vegetable oil, I have a cup of vegetable oil, you could use Crisco shortening, but I am using vegetable oil for this recipe. "
