"When you are done with your painting and you are ready to clean up. If you are using a plate for instance which I am you are just going to clean it up with soap and water. It's totally safe after that. You can eat off of that again and when you are closing your paints, you want to make sure that the lids are very tightly shut. Because if they are not, the paints are going to dry out and that sucks. Next we're going to make sure that if you're not using your brushes, you always want to keep them in the water. You can wash them out with warm soap and water and then what I like to do is just stick them with the brush tips facing up in your containers so they can dry really nice. You can get that point and you can actually do that with your fingers to reshape the brush and make sure that it dries either flat or upright. But you never want to have it facing down because otherwise it will ruin it."
