"When you're working with acrylics, you want to think about a couple of things when you setup your workspace. First of all you probably want to put some plastic over your table so if you have a spill or what not you can contain it. You can use a simple trash bag which is great like a large size and you can just even cut it in half if you need to and that should usually give you some good coverage. Then in terms of setting up your water jar try not to have it right in front of where you're going to be reaching for the paints so you don't knock it over. If you're right handed, put your brushes and your water maybe on the right side and then your paints on the other side so it's a little easier and your not constantly crossing over yourself. Then have some good lighting. Again make sure that you are not drawing in a shadow somewhere, just make sure that you are well lite. That is pretty much it do keep a rag or a paper towel around in case you have a spill as well, it's always a good idea."
