"So there is lots of different types of acrylic paints. Basically if you are beginning you probably want to get the less expensive ones. Some of the ones that I have here are really basic paints. Then I guess more of the higher end paints they have more pigment in them so if you really want to get into it then you might want to start experimenting with some of the higher end paints. But for the purpose of beginning just go with the basics and you probably want to get a variety of colors you can also practice mixing your own. Any really acrylic paint is good to start with. They also have some specialty paints like different luminosities like this for instance has sort of a purplish sheen to it, so you can start doing some different effects with it. So go to the store look around and see what you like and get whatever suites you."
