"So now we're actually going to start blocking in the shapes and this is really a good time to use the side of your vine stick if you have the vine sticks. Cause you can really start getting some large areas blocked in so we got the side here and we're just going to really start getting in some of those shadows and start blocking in some of it. So try to go for the easiest thing to do is really start going for the darkest parts first. Then with your smudging tool you can always try to blend in and try to get your highlights. Also don't forget about your shadow on your table because it's really going to give you a sense your object a sense of being grounded on there. So that it don't look like they are floating in space somewhere. Don't try to also be a little bit careful with where you are putting the charcoal because you want to try to avoid if you see some highlights try to avoid putting the charcoal there. So also don't forget to sketch in the shadows that you are casting on the table because it will give them a sense of setting of where they are. So that it doesn't look like they are floating in space somewhere so just go ahead and start blocking in the shapes and the shadows."
