"A great thing to have for holding your paper when you are drawing is a drawing board. You can find them pretty much at any local art store. They come in various different sizes. This is a smaller one that I'm using today. However, I usually use larger ones for larger papers. It's very easy to use, you just take your paper and slip it underneath the clip like that and your paper is secure it's not going to fall off, it's not going to start moving all over the place. The great thing about these boards is that you can take them with you anywhere. So if you want to go out side and draw on location, in nature somewhere or in the city you just take it and it's super light and easy to carry. It's very convenient to use so I highly recommend it. This one actually has a grid on it which you can see so if you're measuring out your still life you can use it to get a sense of space. So if you're a beginner, this might be something that you would want to look into and they also come without the grids on them as well."
