"We're going to cut this as a layout. I take this as I said before, I take that photo copy from that book and the trick is that maybe you find a good figure, a good body but it's too small or too big. Then you can use the photo copy machine in order to enlarge or to reduce to the size that you want. That is whatever I did. This was like half of the size. Now I put it more or less at that size that we are going to make the figures on that scale. Following we are going to do as follows. We are going to cut slight in here with this thickness that you can see that is the thickness more or less of the body that we have here. The profile. The good thing, if you have no model. The trick to make a good sculpture is to have images of the front of the profile then a least you know how the sculpture is going to look. Ok then we're going to cut this. Yeah. The profile, the front and the profile. If we have these two images then we can compare with the model that we have the proportions of the both sides and then we can invert this one and one is going to be the right profile and the other one is going to be the left profile and this is going to be the back and this is going to be the front. Then with this it helps to give you the two dimensional shape. It's a little bit tricky but if you have no sculpture to copy or figuring to copy that's a very good way to do it."
