"To make a self standing, high figurine, we need a supporting pole. We are going to use these two pieces of wood. You can buy these in some art stores or you can make it yourself just set it here. We are going to put it on this turning table, it's very useful. This is going to be the structure that keeps the inside of the owl hollow. We need that in order to make the fastening and to avoid cracks or it getting destroyed. The next step I'm going to cut the clay in one big slab and I am going to wrap it around this structure."
