How to Apply Men's Hair Cream

"Hi, my name is Teri Lynne and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. And in this segment, we're going to be talking about how to apply hairstyling cream to your hair. So we want to start with a damp, damp hair. So if it's really wet, you've just gotten out of the shower, make sure you give it a good towel dry. I'm using what's called invisible styling cream. So it's not a really heavy one. If you have really thick hair, styling cream is probably the product you want to use. Because it allows your hair to have a bit more of a slick look to it. It also allows you to play around with shaping your hair a little bit. If you've got hair that has some wave to it, you can shape the waves the way you like it. So I've just taken about a quarter-size amount and I've worked it into my hands, spread it out evenly. And then I'm just going to work it in, starting from the top and work it right down to the tips of his hair. It's almost like I'm using my fingers as a comb. Just working it right in. You don't want to just leave it. A lot of people just put it right on the top of the hair, they don't work it into the underside of their hair. And it doesn't look as nice. You want to really make sure you're working it into as much of your hair as possible. Work it right down to the tips. So again, this is going to give me a little bit of a wet look to your hair. Your hair, almost all day, will almost keep that wet look. And then you just want to--this is good for a bit more of a sleek look, instead of a nice body look. You want to just use it for slicking. You can definitely use a brush or a comb, if you want to really work the product in a bit more. There we go. This is your hair styled, using the styling cream."
