"Hi, my name is Teri Lynne and I'm here on behalf of Expert Village. In this segment I'm gonna show you how to do some pigtails. So we're gonna take start with some nice clean washed and combed hair. We're gonna take just a small comb to separate the hair into two halves. Or into half rather. So you want to make sure you have a nice even part. Going from the top all the way down. I see a lot of people walking around with pigtails where one side is a lot bigger than the other. It just don't look as nice. So you really, the parting is probably the hardest part of the pigtail. So as long as you can get a nice clean part. You're having trouble if you have a cow lick in the back or something you might want to wet your hair or ask someone, a partner to actually split your hair in half if you're having trouble doing it yourself. I recommend having two mirrors around when you're working with the back of your hair. If you have an area where you're working on your hair where you could look at your hair from the back and the front that works really well. So you want to take, split your hair in half, you could just leave one over your shoulder. And you're just gonna take the one half and just gonna gather it nicely, just pull it smooth. Take your ponytail and this is really up to you how high you want to do your ponytails, your pigtails. If you do them higher you usually have a little bit more of a little kid look to them. If you want them a little bit a little bit more, I don't know if element is the word or no a little more casual a little bit more an older looking look for pigtails you want to do them a little lower. I like them a little lower. Just an inch down from the ear. You want to pull this one a little tighter. You don't really want a lot of hair hanging there. You want that to be pretty smooth. Sorry Lauren. There. Take the other half and do the same thing and you want to make sue that they're at the same length. That's an important thing for pigtails. That these are hanging at approximately the same level and again you could choose to wear them back or forward or one back and one forward. Kind of whatever you want to do with it. So show them the back and if you just spin around for me. Great and you can play around with them a little bit if you want them just a little higher you can just pull at the bottom of them. And that is how you do simple pigtails and if you want to see more of my up does, please watch some more segments of me here on Expert Village. "
