How to Straighten Front Hair with Flat Irons

"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida, and today we're going to show you how to straighten out curly hair. We're working on making this part of her hair straight. If I don't really get close to the roots, I may create a line on her, so I'm trying to get close to the roots. I'm also noticing that the front is very, very curly, so I’m going to show you in minute what I do to the front to make it not as curly because it's really frizzy. Her hair is extremely frizzy in the front of her hair. I want to take it and then I want to bring it this way towards me a little bit so I can get closer to the root with my iron. I want to bring it out like that. Straight down like that. That way I can get close to her roots because her hair here is really frizzy. Very, very frizzy. I get an angle again and I tell her to push her head a little bit low like that back, even though it's a little uncomfortable. I get as close as I can. It may be uncomfortable for you, but I'm not uncomfortable. You just try your best and you bring it down straight. That way you can get a good nice straightness right here in the front of the hair line. Look at the side."
