"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida, and today we're going to show you how to straighten out curly hair. Before you start to straighten her hair out with any kind of tool, you want to separate it to get it out of the way because she's got plenty of hair that gets big, even though it's fine. Fine hair can also get real wild. That's what happens with curly hair and you want it straightened. It just gets really big. Section it so that it's not in your way bothering you and you can do a better job. I only sectioned it in 3 sections. Some people can section it in 4. Whatever you feel comfortable. I'm going to section it like this, and I'm going to go straight down like that and take a small section. Make sure that you take a small section of the hair when you're straightening it. If you don't take a small section of the hair, what happen is when you take too much, you're not really going to do a good job of straightening the hair. It's going to go back and get frizzy. Make sure that you section it off nicely and that it's really a small section of the hair. Small like that."
