on 8/2/2008 You can go to any beauty supply store and buy a universal pik attachment. Just make sure it fits your dryer. If you don't find a pik you can buy a dryer that comes with a pik attachment. Sally's has a few you can try.

Video Transcript

"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Lizbeth Muller from Liz's Hair Design in Hollywood, Florida, and today we're going to show you how to straighten out curly hair. My favorite tool to blow-dry hair and fast, would be this pick. It's wonderful. You would be surprised what you can do with it. Make sure the blow-dryer is hot. You put the pick through and it's drying it from root to end. Believe me the hair will be straight. Just take it and go like this. You're not even going to burn the client. It's a fast way of getting curly hair straight. It doesn't matter how curly the hair. It's not going to hurt it. It's not going to tangle. You're going to dry it fast. Look how fast her hair is already drying. Get in there and dry like this. I don't section it. I can go either direction and just blow-dry it. The hair will be real straight when I'm done."
