How to Mix Hair Coloring

"On behalf of Expert Village my name is Elizebeth Muller from Liz's Hair Designs of Hollywood, Florida. Today we're showing you how to do color on relaxed hair. Tube color is usually very very creamy. You want to go ahead and mix it very well. Especially if you have several colors in there. You want to mix your color really good using your bowl and your brush and just moving it around something like this and just turning it like that. Then you're going to go a ahead and take the developing and put it in there a little bit at a time - no rush. You don't want to go ahead and rush this. There's no need to. It's gonna be just sitting there waiting anyhow. So, go ahead put in equal amounts of your developer. Once you do, put it in again a little at a time as you see here. I'll tilt the bowl slightly. I don't want it to spill. Move it around well. It's good that her color is going to be nice and thick. I find that when it's creamy, it covers the gray better."
