Summary: Learn how to make sure who is coming for a New Year's Eve party from an event planning expert in this event planning video.
"3,2,1 Happy New Year on behalf of Expert Village my name is Matt Cail and I'm going to show you how to throw a New Year's Eve party. As your party approaches you want to make sure and keep some sort of track on how many people are coming to your party. Now this can be made especially difficult cause often times the planning period is a brief cause of the Christmas season. But try to stick with it. This is going to help you in measurably when it comes to things like food, drink, space and other, party planning issues making sure that you keep tabs on who you know. Who is definitely coming, who is not coming, and who don't really know if they are coming yet or not. Because if people you don't necessarily know these are the folks that you can target 0 in on. Follow up with emails and phone calls and other additional contacts after your send out your invitations. To say are you guys coming to my New Year's Eve party it is going to be a great time etc, etc. That way you can have a really good handle on how many people are going to be showing up for your party. In addition to food, there is always a issue of fire safety. If you are trying to fit 50 people to a 25x25 space you can have problems especially if anybody called the fire department or the police department during your party. Which hopefully would not happen but it is good to plan for it just in case."
