"3,2,1 Happy New Year on behalf of Expert Village my name is Matt Cail and I'm going to show you how to throw a New Year's Eve party. When considering how to decorated your New Year's Eve party one of the first things to do is purge your house of Christmas decoration. Down with the tree, down with the lights. New Year's Eve should be more of its own identity so you need to go through your house and make some basic decisions. For example some stuff can stay up. If things are kind of winterly that is okay January 1st, December 31st it is still winter time it is just starting out. So if you have some snow flakes and stuff you might be able to get away with that. Plan silver garland you also might be able to get away with but watch out for example we have candy canes here. No no candy canes winter wonderland that is Christmas time. That is Christmas stuff. So no go. So definitely watch out for stuff. The big colors you should keep them on if you want garland and streamers up. Silver is good, also blue. Anything kind of cold and winterly is great. Same thing you can do these type of colors with balloons and streams but odds are you are decorations for your New Year's Eve party should be realitely under stated. It is more the guest, the people, the atmostphere more then the decore for New Year's Eve. "
