"3,2,1 Happy New Year on behalf of Expert Village my name is Matt Cail and I'm going to show you how to throw a New Year's Eve party. Another interesting decision you are going use in your party is whether to have television on or off. There is different school of though. Again it comes down to what type of party that you want to have. Tv's have a effect of sucking out the energy in the room. Instead of people talking with each other, they would be memorize on the television. This could behold any of us. It is very easy to see something easy on television. What I suggest for your New Year's party is only having the television if A. if you are kind of splicing like a movie perhaps with this. It is not purely a New Year's party you are also planning to be showing movies and there is a movie scheduled that you are showing. Or B. if you plan on showing some other New Year's celebration around midnight. Perhaps you are near any place where they are dropping any big apples or they are blowing up lots of fire works. That would be kind of neat to show on your television since you don't have any of that stuff near by. Outside of that keep the television off. It would indeed be overly distracted for your guest. A lot of people might even click off and not talk to one another. So when in doubt turn that tv off."
