"Hi! This is Josiah Owen with Expert Village. After our cookies have been sugared, we're going to go ahead and put about 2 cups of chopped up chocolate or chocolate chips in a pan. We're going to go ahead and melt this down. The reason we didn't melt this down earlier with the rest of the chocolate is because if we had done that, the chocolate would have hardened by this time and we would have to go ahead and do the process over again. Now we're just going to go ahead and melt some fresh chocolate. Like I said, chopping it down or using chocolate chips is a lot easier than a whole block of chocolate because this will melt faster. It'll also melt at an even pace. Just stir this around a little bit. You don't want it to ever sit too long or the chocolate will start to burn. When that happens when you put them on top of your cookies, they just won't taste the same. It's starting to cream up nicely. Just keep stirring this around and there you go. Like I said, watch out because this will burn fast."
