" Hi! This is Zak with Expert Village, and today I’m going to help you troubleshoot why your printer might not be printing. If you’re having trouble printing you should make some checks on your printer before calling a technician because you might pay 40 or $50 to have a technician at your house when it could be something as simple as your power cord not being plugged in. Now here on the back of this printer, the power cable is plugged in but it’s still not coming on. You should check both ends of your cable and make sure that the AC end is plugged into an outlet as well. This is very common mistake and sometimes when moving a printer around it’s very easy for power cables to become loosened and fall out, so always make sure you check that before calling a technician. Other common reasons for your printers power cable not being plugged in could include things such as when you’re moving your printer around your workspace, the cables might become loosen and fall out. Children and animals running by your workspace might also trip on the cords and cause them to be pulled out. Other things to look for are for printers that have external power supplies. Usually the cable that plugs into the wall and connects to the power supply is disconnectable. In those cases, you should check and make sure that these connections are made nice and tight so that power continues to be given to the power adapter into your printer."
