" Hi! This is Zak with Expert Village and I’m going to talk to you today about the different types of ink cartridge setups on printers. Printers can have usually 2, 4, or 6 ink cartridges. There’s always a black cartridge, generally a cyan and magenta and yellow cartridge setup for the other set. In a tube cartridge setup like these Hewlett-Packard cartridges, we have the black ink and then we have one single cartridge that handles all three of the cyan, magenta and yellow. In some other printers similar to that one that aren’t necessarily photo quality, you’ll have three separate cartridges for each cyan, magenta and yellow. On this photo printer over here, we have six cartridges. One black, one yellow and then two for cyan and two for magenta and the additional one’s for each of those are special photo ink so they make the pictures appear more glossy and vibrant than a normal printer might."
