" Hi! This is Zak with Expert Village, and today I’m going to talk to you about plugging in your USB printer. Most printers today come with USB cables and ports to appose to older printers, which used parallel ports, and serial transfer, USB is much more reliable and far more compatible in different systems, which makes a better option when choosing a printer. To plug in your USB printer, you would find the kind of larger looking end usually is what plugs into devices and find your matching USB port. Then take the other end of your cable and find an open USB port on the back of your computer. Usually this is a port designated by the USB symbol with three little prongs coming out of a dot. If your cable feels like it’s not going in don’t force it, you might have it backwards. USB cables sometimes it’s not easy to tell which way they should face. So if it’s not going in turn it around and try and insert it the other way."
