"This is Zach with Expert Village and I am going to talk to you today about burning CD's. CD burning is a very popular method of storing data on compact disc. Most CD's today hold 700 megabytes of data. Generally these are good for burning music and storing photos and small video files and any other kind of data that you want to keep around but you don't necessarily need on your hard drive. To burn a CD insert the CD into your computer. After inserting the CD into your computer, finder will ask you what you would like to do with your blank CD and it has a list of different actions you could do. For making a simple data CD, we are going to go to the default action which is open finder. What this does it puts an icon on the desktop for our blank CD and to burn files on. After that all you do is take them and drag them onto our blank CD. Opening up the CD in finder shows what files we have dragged onto the CD and has a button up at the top of the file listing that lets you burn the CD so burning it should only take a few minutes depending on the speed of your drive and the dis allows to be burned. In most disc today, they are very high speed so it should only take a few minutes then finder will eject here your CD and then you will be ready to go with your burned CD. "
