Tab Functions in Peak Pro

In this lesson, I'm going to be teaching you about some of the options available to you underneath the DSP Tab. And if you come up to the top, where it says DSP. And click there. You'll notice you have quite a few different options, here that you can choose from. Some of these are more useful than others, some of these functions. Some of them are more useful ones, if I come down and click Stereo to Mono. This is going to convert my song from stereo of two channels to mono. And you can select the Pan. And that's going to select how much you have from either channel. And I'm going to click, o.k. And as you can see, it converts it to a mono channel. I'm going to go ahead and undo that. I come back up to DSP. Another thing you can do, is convert Sample Type. And what this is going to do, instead of just changing the Sample Type. It's going to take what you've got. And actually convert it. So you've got some presets here, you can choose from. I'm going to go ahead and get out of there and click, cancel. Another thing you can do, you can Repair Clicks. Which is helpful if you have some bad audio. If I select part of my song, here. The DSP effects affect only where you have selected, in most cases. We're going to come down and click, Rappify. And what that does, is you can change the amount of the effect. Just makes it sound kind of like somebody's Beatboxing when I play that. As you can see, let me undo that as well. And some of the other things we have, is of course, you can Fade in and out. You can change the change the Gain on your selection. And you can also, if you come down and click, reverse. That's going to take your selection and just reverse it. You can use that to, for some interesting effects, there. As you can see. So, like I said there's a lot of different options, you have underneath your DSP Tab. And you can come in and play around with those. But those are some of the more important functions available to you."
