"Peak Pro is a registered trademark of Bias Incorporated and I am in no way affiliated with Bias Incorporated. In this lesson I'm going to be teaching you how to record audio in Peak Pro. If you want to come up here to the top, it looks like a circle with some lines underneath it, this is your record settings button. If you click there, it's going to bring up your record settings dialog here. From here you can select which disk to record to by clicking here. I'm going to leave it on largest drive but if you have multiple drives, you might need to select a different drive there. You can also select the file format to record to. It defaults to AIFF. You can also select sound designer, but after you're done recording you can save it as any format you want. You can come down here and turn your monitor on and off by clicking this check box right here. You can also creates split stereo files and a couple of other different things. Over here you can, if you click on device and sample format, you can change the channels if you want a mono or stereo. You can also change the bit depth and a couple of other things, and if you click on hardware settings you can change your input device, and you can also change the input level, but I'm going to go ahead and click OK. When you're ready to record just click the record button here. It looks like a circle. You've also got one down here at the bottom. If you click there it's going to bring up your record dialog, and whenever you're ready to record just click the button right here, and you'll notice that your record button light up, and you've got a wave form coming here at the top underneath where it says "audio source display". You can click the pause button and that's going to pause your recording and if you click it again, it's going to resume. Whenever you're done recording just hit stop, and it's going to prompt you where you want to save your recording as, and I'm just going to leave it as audio recording, and we'll replace that. After you're done it's going to bring up your recording as a wave form. So that's how you create recordings in Peak Pro."
