"Peak Pro is a registered trademark of Bias, Incorporated and I am in no way affiliated with Bias, Incorporated. In this lesson I am going to be teaching you how to use the cut copy and paste functions on your wave forms in Peak Pro. You want to make sure that you have your cursor selected here at the top right and come down to your wave form at the bottom. What you can do is select part of your wave form, I am going to select just the first part which is a drum beat, select it there and what I can do is I can go up to edit and then I can cut, copy, and paste or you have also got your quick little icons here and the tool bar up at the top. If you click the scissors that is going to cut and go ahead and undo that so I am going to unclick what looks like two pieces of paper there and that is going to copy to my clipboard and then I can move y cursor to where I want to paste that part I just copied. I have set a marker here and we will get into markers at another time and I am going to put my cursor there and if I come up to the top and click the paste button it is going to paste my cursor there so if I go ahead and play it I have just pasted that beginning drum beat in the middle of my song there. Also if you select part of your song and click on the trash can here at the top of your tool bar that is going to delete that selection as well but that is the basics of using your cut, copy and paste functions in Peak Pro."
