" Hi! I’m Mike with expertvillage.com. Today we’re going to be talking about part two of how to share files between your two PC’s. Any folders that you want to have shared you would have wanted to right click on those folders and go to sharing. Make sure the sharing is enabled for that folder. We’ve talked about the computer name on the network and how to make sure that they’re on the same workgroup. What we’re going to do now is we’re going to go back to our computer on either one of your two or three. You want to access your what’s labeled as my network places. You can do that from the start menu or the desktop if it happens to be there. When you open up my network places, you’re going to have a bar on the left with several things over there under network tasks. You’re going to want to click view workgroup computers. When you do that it’s going to list the computer names of how ever many are in your particular workgroup. You may have one, two, three, four or a hundred computers. You need to double click on the computer name that you need to get to. Once you do that you’ll have a listing of folders that are available, such as your shared documents or music folder for example. You just go from there and now you’ve successfully accessed shared resources or shared files on your own network."
