" Hi! I’m Mike with expertvillage.com, today I’m going to talk about fairly simple problem where the cable is just too short to reach to the router. Here’s what we’re going to do about it. We’ve got unfortunately just not quiet enough to get where we need to go. Maybe we bought the wrong length of cable or what have you or we just didn’t have the right one to start with or had to move a computer a little farther away in the corner. No problem; you can get a simple coupler that looks like this, its just got a female end and other end. All you need to do is take your cable, connect one side and take another piece of cable, connect the other side. This will obviously enable you to connect to your router like you intentionally plan to do before you ran out of cable. Do note that these cable’s don’t need to be gold plated, platinum colored, or contain silver or other precious or rear medals. Cable’s that cost 30, 25, $30 for a five-foot piece of cable. It’s an absorbident price, do not pay it. Find another retailer or outlet to pickup your cable from. There will be no difference and your signal quality or in how you get your data through the network."
