"Hi, I'm Mike Purdy for Expert Village and we're editing videos in Sony Vegas. We just added titles to our little video here. Suppose we wanted rolling credits, well let's get rid of these and we insert generated media, one of the generated media is the credit roll. We'll click on it and we get the credit roll window now let me explain this real quick here, zoom on it so you can see the credit roll window a little bit better. We have 3 different types of text in the credit roll; we have header text and if we go to styles we see what type of text we'll get if it's a header in this case it will be a Ariel 20 in white. A sub item text will wind up as Ariel 20 white as well, item left item right we wanted to do columns, the dual items also Ariel 20. Now suppose you want the title text to be in bigger type like 26. And then we want this to be in 20 and let's say we want the title text to be in blue we can change the color to blue. To enter text what I like to do is get rid of the ones that I'm not going to use, I'm not going to use this so I highlight it and click delete. I'm not going to use this, highlight it and click delete that's if you want to do two columns. To add text to this you simply double click and it allows you to type, and if you want to say copy right 2007, play it from the beginning. (playing)"
