"Hi! I'm Mike Purdy once again for Expert Village and we are talking about Paint Shop Pro. Now I am going to show you how to reduce red eye. Here's an image. Obviously it has some pretty bad red eye affect. This is from the flash reflecting off of the retina in back of the eye. Go up to effects, enhance photo, red eye removal and you get this screen here. You take this hand and move it around to get the eye right where you want it and you get a selection tool like this. You start with this in the very center of that red eye, move it out to the edge and get it right there. You can always adjust it a little bit so that it covers that edge. Here you can see the preview what it is going to look like when you finish that. We happen to have the color on gray right now but it could go on brown or it could go on green so that we could change it. I think gray is the most appropriate for this picture and we simply go to the other eye. Hit effects, enhance photo, red eye removal, move it over a little bit, take our tool, put it right in the center. Now you can see that his eyelid is covering it just a little bit but that's okay. You can see how it still looks natural. Move it down a little if we want to. Click okay and we are done. That is how you get rid of red eye. "
