"Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Now that you've imported your photos, if you click on library over here at the top left, all your photos are going to appear. If you click on the arrow to the left of the library, it's going to give you a list of years. From here, you can select. I'm going to select 2007. Over here it's just going to show me all the photos that were taken in 2007. The photos are automatically given a time stamp by your camera. The date is also imported into iPhoto so that you can easily navigate to your photos in case you've got a lot of them that you've taken over the years. If I click on 2006, I've just got one photo here. Also, if you click on library, you can uncheck different years. It's going to exclude those photos that were taken in whatever year you uncheck. If you click on last roll, over here it's going to show you. These are the photos that I imported from my digital camera in the last lesson. As I mentioned earlier, iPhoto is automatically going to put your photos into a roll. If I click on last roll, it's going to show you the last batch of imported photos. Also, you can click on last 12 months. That's obviously, going to show you the last 12 months worth of photos that you've imported into iPhoto. Then down here at the bottom, it's also got the trash. If you want to get rid of a photo, all you have to do is click and drag over to the trash. It's going to put it in your trash can. You can select trash and see what's in there. If you want to get rid of the photos in your trash, just right click and select empty trash. That's going to delete the photo permanently."
