"Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. A third way of getting photos into iPhoto is directly from your digital camera. To do this, all you have to do is plug up your digital camera and turn it on. Make sure it's plugged in through your USB port, and iPhoto is going to automatically going to sense your camera. You'll see it appear over here on your desktop. It'll give you a screen that looks like this. It says ready to import 381 items. To start your import, all you have to do is come down here. If you want to delete the pictures from your camera after they're imported, you can check this. I'm just going to leave it unchecked. All you have to do is come down here and click import and it's automatically going to start importing all the photos off your camera. If you want, you can add a name and a description to your roll. I'm gong to go ahead and click import there. It's automatically going to start importing all your pictures. If you want to stop, you can come down here to stop import. I don't want to import all these right now. I'm going to select keep photos. If you're wondering where it copies these photos to. If you go to your hard drive and come down to pictures and iPhoto library. If you come down to originals, it's going to store them in a folder here depending on under the year. I'm going to go to 2007. It's going to store them in whatever roll you named them, or it will automatically add a number. If you haven't selected a roll. Mine is under roll 11 now. When you're done, all you have to do is click the eject button next to your camera and unplug your camera. You've got all of your photos from your camera in iPhoto now. "
