"On behalf of expertvillage.com this is Paul Louis and I’d like to welcome you to how to create a 3D animated character in the program known as iClone, enjoy. We’re going to go up here and we’re going to choose this select face tool and we’re going to make a square around this face and then we’re going to check it, click next and then we’re already in the white male mode over here you have different options you have Asian, Black, you have male, you have female, children. We’re going to stay with the white male and we’re going to take these points and we’re going to size up the face within these boarders and we’re going to use this part as a reference because we want to get the eyes to match up, so we’ll click on next after we’ve done that and it roughly tells you where the outlines are in terms of the actual photograph, we’ll click on next again and now we’re going to use these points here to fit inside the eyes you want to fit inside the eyes as much as possible you don’t want to go outside the eyes you want to fit them right inside the eyes and then bring this up slightly under his nose. Again using this as a reference over here to see if it looks somewhat normal."

on 11/17/2008 Paul, I thank you for this video, and showing me a great program for 3D Character creating, it's exactly what I was looking for!
However, I was wondering if you'd be able to help me with an issue I am having.
I had download iClone v3.03 EX, it was a successful download, but the program will not start for me. It will load everything, then it appears in my taskbar, and quickly disappears.
I'm really eager to try this program out, but I was wondering if there'd be a certain problem causing this.
Thank you!
Vinny
