"Now let's go ahead, and brighten up our lava planet a little bit. As we can see here, we've already got it we've still got it selected, so let's go ahead, and let's brighten this up a little bit by changing the levels. Let's hit command L, oops well, there we go, oops, and now we're going to get rid of everything again. There we go. Back up to our planet, and as you can see, our levels have come up, our input levels. Now, this right here is showing us that we have really a underexposed photo right here, because a regular exposed photo would have levels that went all the way across. What we want to do is we want to bring this up some. Well actually, it kind of really doesn't matter, because what we're doing is we're manually making this as we go along. So what we're going to do is we're going to lighten this up considerably, because we want to give it that effect like it's on fire. Let's do something like that. I don't want to darken it out too much, let's break it up some, somewhere in there looks pretty good. We're going to go ahead and accept that as it is. Now let's sharpen this up, so let's go into filter; let's go to sharpen, and let's do unsharpen mask. Now, let's go ahead and key these in. Let's do this at like let's do this at five hundred percent. Wow, look at that, it's really giving it a gradient now. And let's do a, let's go to a tab radius of 3.0, breaking it up even more, and let's do a threshold of 15. Wow, now we've got a lot of nice cracks in here, and it's starting to take on a real appearance. Let's go ahead, and hit enter on this, and we're going to stop here, and we'll pick it up in the next part. "
