Video Transcript

"Hi! I’m Ross. Thanks for visiting expertvillage.com. What can we do with computer files? Let’s find out. In this clip, I’m going to show you how to get files back from the recycle bin. Gardening.txt I’m going to delete and sending it to the recycle bin, it’s now gone. Because I went to the recycle bin, it has not been deleted from my hard drive. I can go up to recycle bin, right click, go to open or explore, I like explore better so I’ll select that, and I can see files that are sitting in the recycle bin. There is gardening.txt; gives me the date that it was deleted, it’s location. If I right click, I have the option to restore. It now disappeared out of the recycle bin. I’ll close that window, go back into my documents, and I’ll see if gardening.txt is back."
