How to Use the Macintosh Dock

" Hey how are you doing alright Happy New Year's from expertvillage.com and Tony the Mac guy. Tony with expertvillage.com so we are going to we kind of talk about the overview of desk top and we are just getting into the dock. I was just talking about the dock so that is what we are going to talk about in this segment is all about the dock. I don't means a dock turd I do mean a dock which is know in Os X as were you put all your programs that you could easily get to and open them and it is pretty much you design it your self you put whatever programs that are important to you in the dock. So I have on my desk top I have some folders and ... hard drives. I don't want to keep application short cuts on my desk top because the is what the dock is for and that is what makes the Mac Os X so organize and nice and easy to get to anything you want. Basically your dock is well where ever you want to put your dock. Lets just go up to the blue apple and I will open up the dock for feature. You could turn the hiding off which means right now you don't see my docks so if I turn it off it would stay like this the whole time. It would just stay on the bottom of the screen the entire time that I'm using my computer. But, I kind of like it when it disappears so just go to the dock and I'm going to tell it to turn the hiding on so boom. Disappears very nice. Okay so that is a very cool feature so I'm going to come to the dock and you could turn the manualfrication on which means when you go down to it it would kind of expand and blow up and as you could see it gets a little bigger with each icon that you pass by. So I don't really like that feature and it is all depending on what you like as a computer user. So I always turn that off but, here is the beauty of it is that you could take your dock and you could move it anywhere to the left, to the bottom, to the right."
