"Let's talk a little bit about the maps feature on your iPhone. Although it's not a real time GPS, like the GPS you would have in your car, it is using Google maps to have your start and destination during your journey. You can go ahead and predetermine your drive, wherever you're going to be going beforehand, or while you're on the road. Of course, if you're using all the iPhone features, you'll have wireless internet to add your destinations. The newer software that just came out actually uses your cell tower's distance to calculate where you are to give you more of a real time GPS feel. What we're going to is click this icon that says maps. What it's going to load first is my area. I am in the Tampa Bay area, so this is a picture of Tampa Bay. One of the cool things, just like the photos, you can actually zoom in just by stretching your fingers. So all zoom in to Clearwater, and here's our Clearwater area. Like I said, it's just like the photos. Of course, if you want to zoom out, you can go ahead and squeeze your fingers together; it will zoom out too. We can slide across, gives it a second to load. We can see major cities, like we have Orlando up here. We'll go back to the Tampa Bay area. Another neat feature is, you ca go ahead and click satellite. Once the satellite loads, it will give you a real view of your area, wherever you're going to go or be going. Let's say we want to go somewhere; we'll go ahead and hit start. Once start comes in, you can actually type your address here. It can be anywhere, a home, a business, whatever it is. Then of course, we'll click end, and the same thing; you type your area, wherever it is you want to go. Once you're done you'll hit next, and then it will actually run through the entire scenario, and give you the map of your to and from. So, we'll go back to our regular map. I'll zoom in a little bit farther, right here. Once the map does load it will look just like your Map quest or Google maps, and it will show you your pink line, or your purple line, and show your actual destination. The map feature is good if you want to plan out your route ahead of time. It doesn't give you the exact GPS feel, but it will get you to and from wherever you need to go. That's the basics of your map on your iPhone. Click your main menu button, and it takes you back."
