"Hi! This is Gary with Expert Village. Internet Explorer has a really nice feature. Really nice short cut that let's you just type in the main name of the web page without any www or without any .com. What you have to do for instance if you want to go to CNN, you would just type in the letters CNN and now when loading the page, you hold down the control button and then hit enter and it automatically places the header and the footer or the http.www at the beginning and also the .com at the end and you don't have to waste time typing in any full addresses. Now this only works for .com addresses. It assumes that when you hit the control enter key that you are trying to to to a .com and so it takes the names, letters or the word or the main part of the web address that you put in and it is only going to add the extension of a .com to it. So it will not work for any other web pages that are not .com but it is a nice convenient short cut to know and it saves time for trying to type in those long web pages.l "
