"Hi, I am Gary for Expert Village. A very common mistake in Outlook is accidentally sending an email before we want it to be sent. That can mean sending it to the wrong people or just sending it before it is ready and it could be an embarrassing thing to deal with. So let me just show you a really quick simple trick to avoid that. What we do is when we have a new email that we want to compose, immediately if you know that it is going to be a long email that you need to, or if it is an important email that you need to put in certain information and you are going to be working on it and you don't want to accidentally send it, so immediately in the CC field, put a erroneous email just any email that just doesn't make any sense and this way Outlook will not be able to send the email. It will look at the address it is trying to send to and it will, if it wants to send it will give you this message checking names and it will say that it does not recognize this type of email. So if you just keep this fake email address in there, then even if you do even accidentally send the email when trying to close it or save it or for whatever reason you will always have to get that message first and this way it won't go out accidentally.
