"Hi, I am Gary for Expert Village. Let's look a little bit more in depth into the advance search features. We are going to create a search that is also going to be saved and placed into our search folders. But it will give us a look at all the dynamic features of the search in Outlook. So the first thing we want to do is go to our search folders and right click and we are going to create a new search folder and in this window that opens up in the new search folder window we are going to right click and scroll all the way down and we see that we have a custom feature. We are going to click on create a custom search folder and we are going to specify the criteria. So the first thing we need to do is create a name for our folder. I am going to create a search that will search for emails that were sent one month ago. We will go ahead and click on criteria and we go click on advanced and we see now we can create a lot of our own special criteria. What I am going to do is I am going to define a criteria for the sent field so this way it will look inside that the field. We go ahead and select it from the menu as well. We see that we have a dynamic list of all the fields that are in Outlook, but I knew that I wanted the sent field, so there is no reason to go ahead searching through it. So it is going to be sent and the condition is going to be on or before, because we want it to be at least one month. So it will be on or before and the value we will type in one month ago and that is typed in, that is typed without any quotes."
