Travian Beginner Strategy

"Ok, you should be good to go on the interface. Now you should know how to build both resource fields and buildings. Now I'm going to help you put together a winning strategy for how to maximize the return in Travian. Time is money in Travian. The longer it takes for you to accumulate resources, the less you can actually be doing, and the more your opponents can be doing. So, you need to maximize what you're doing every second. The way you do that is with resources. In the beginning you want to concentrate on resource production. Build those resource fields and keep building resource fields. You should have between three and seven days of beginner's protection. Which means nobody can mess with you. This is when you want to use that time to get as much out of your resources as you can. Towards the end of the beginner's protection, you need to start thinking about defense and you might want to build a warehouse to hold more resources, and a cranny to hide the resources. And we'll get to what each of those do a little bit later."
