Basically before you put in you power supply look at your standard mother board power. Most mother boards have 20 to 24 pin depending on mother board manufacturer. If you have 20 pins and your power supply has 24 the top can actually clip off the top 4 to make so it'll fit. Now you want to look before you try to plug it in so you'll know how much you need. Also there's the standard 4 pin, most mother boards needs this to power the processor. You want to find the spot that it goes in and plug before turning on the machine or it will not actually boot. Also there is a standard 4 pin molax that will power up most things such as the hard drive, CD ROM drive, ext. There's also the floppy drive in case you have a floppy drive that you want to use you need this to power that. A newer power connector is the Sada, if you have Sada on you machine make sure your going to have plenty of these with you power supply so you can actually plug them all in. It's better to plug them into this if your going to have multiples just so that's a little bit faster. Sada is a little bit newer so it's faster than the standard 4 pin. If you don't have enough you can always get adapter for it which is basically what we have here. Its a little adapter with 4 pin that you plug into here and you'll be able to plug this is into a Sada port."
