"Hey everybody, my name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Alright, there is some important settings you might want to know about in Virtual DJ. To get to your settings screen go up here to Virtual DJ in the top left. Click there and then click preferences, and it's going to take you to this screen. You're automatically taken to the "sound setup" tab. From here you can setup your inputs and outputs if you have a actual table that outputs time code, you can select that here. If you click on "output", you can output to a mixer or multiple mixers if you have those. If you have multiple sound cards, you can set that up here as well. If you click on the "performances" tab, you can change some settings here if you've noticed Virtual DJ hasn't been acting especially well you can change a slider here to set it to work faster or to a better quality. Underneath sound card, you'll see it says latency. If you've noticed that Virtual DJ (there has been a lag between something that you do and it actually happening) you can mess around with your latency here, and hopefully that will clear up that problem. You can also click on the "latency" button here under "optimize for" if you've been noticing this problem with scratching. If you go over and click on "codecs" (if you have a sound file or video file) that isn't compatible with Virtual DJ you can download the codec for that. If you click "add", you can put in the extension and then select a codec and click "ok", and that will appear over here. It appeared as none, I'm going to go ahead and delete that. You can delete codecs as well in this manner."
