"hey everybody my name is Matt and I'm speaking on behalf of Expert Village. Your first thing your going to want to do with Virtual DJ is to be able to play some songs. On here at the bottom is your library if it looks different you might have the wrong tab selected here so just go ahead and click music and your library will show up. You'll see about half dozen songs down here these are the default songs that come with virtual DJ. If you want to preview them then just right click and click listen and you'll be able to hear what they sound like. But, sooner other than later your probably going to want to use some of your own songs. Virtual DJ You can play wave fods, MP3, AIF formats there are a lot of different formats you can use. So to navigate to your songs there are a couple of different ways you can get to them. You can click volumes and you can navigate on your hard drive to wherever your songs maybe they will show up over here on your right. But, also down here if you click the plus beside music you will see if your on a MAC like I am, you'll see a garage band folder and see an Itunes folder and you can just directly go to your Itunes and your garage band songs that you may have created and use those. But, also if you right click import Itunes play lists and if you click yes it will automatically create folders and directories that you can use to navigate to songs that you may have had in play lists and your Itunes library. Another thing you can do if you click on local database up here at the top it will say do want Virtual DJ to scan your hard drive for MP3 files. If you click yes it will ask you what type of files you want Virtual DJ to scan for and I'm just going to leave music checked. If you click ok it's going to scan your entire hard drive for songs and it will create directories and it is a lot easier to have to navigate to where your songs are on your hard drive each time"
