"Hey everybody, this is Matt speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. All right there are a lot of other things you can do in track view. You can also create notes directly in it. To do that all you have to do is hold down the command key. So I am going to go ahead and add in some more symbols to my beat and we are going to see what that sounds like. As you can see it changed up my beat a little bit. You can also change the length of a note. It doesn't really matter too much with the drums but I've got a piano tracks here. So like I said I am going to go ahead and play this. It is just a short note there but if you put the cursor at the end of the note the icon will change. You can just drag that note out as long as you want and you listen to it again. It makes the note longer. You can also change to notation view so if you are classically trained in music then it might be easier for you but for most of us beginners, the graphic view is going to be fine. You can also change the pitch of the note with the region pitch slider and the velocity of the note. With the note velocity slider, just look on a note and then change those accordingly. Then you can also over here under advanced you can change and edit a lot of other things such as modulation, pitch bend sustain and things like that. I am going to go ahead and click modulation. It is going to take me to a different view and to change that all you have to do is hold down the command key which I told you earlier and you can just draw that in as you see fit and go back and listen to it. You can see the modulation changes."
