"Hey everybody, my name is Matt and I am speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Alright now that we've set up ourselves up to start recording, we've done the hard part. The recording process is relatively easy from here. One last thing you might want to do before you start recording is go up here to control and go down and click on count end. What this does is the metronome count on for 4 beats before it actually starts recording so that you know when to come in. After you do that, you are going to want to make sure your track is armed. You should see a little red button here. It looks like a record button. That means that your tracks armed. You can toggle that off and on but like I said when it is red that means that your track is armed. All you have to do is hit the record button down here and like I said it will count in for 4 beats and you will know when to come in, so go ahead and click there. Whenever you are done recording, go over here and hit the blue play button. That is going to stop your recording and you can scroll back and listen to your recording by pressing the play button and there you go. My recording isn't perfect but it is a start. We are going to learn how to clean it up a little bit in the next lesson."
