"Hey everybody, my name is Matt and I am speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Alright, so now we know how to play music in garage band and now I am going to teach you how to change your instrument. As I said earlier, up here in the top left, you can see your default instrument is the grand piano. To change this just go down here and there is an icon. It's a little "i" in a little circle here at the bottom right. If you click that, you will be brought to the software instrument dialog. You can click here on the left to change the category of the instrument and if you find one here on the right, you can actually pick the instrument you want. I'm going to change to a 1 and it automatically changes your instrument. Horn selected is my instrument. Down here there's an icon of a horn and you click and change the icon. This is just to help you organize your tracks visually and down below that you can click details and here you can fine tune your instruments and you can manually change the generator and some other things. Just like I said, just fine tune the instrument. Down here you can actually add different affects. You have two slots to add different affects to your instruments. We will probably get into these a little bit more later. You can add a chorus to it and it kind of changes it. You can change the echo and reverb down here as well. Like I said to just kind of fine tune how your instrument sounds and that is how you change instruments in garage band. "
