"This is Franklin with Expert Village talking about how to use the Nero suite of products. Now as we go down to the DVD again, we're going to use DVD, I really wouldn't mess with CDs when using video, you can, you can make a VCD, but, which is a Video Disk, on CD, but I would really not even worry about that, just get CDs, I mean DVDs are now just as cheap as CDs, so what you want to do is you want to go down to your main panel; photo or video, now the Capture Video, this means if you plug in your DV camera, you have a capture card, a TV tuner card and it records directly to the hard drive. And here's you know, your basic panel here; you can play, and stop and record and fast forward and rewind, this is where you are just going to play the video so lets say you plug in your video, via Firewire, and you hit the play button then you should be able to hit record right here and you can watch the video play and then you will hit record. Now when you are recording you want to make sure that it is in a format that you want. Let's say for instance the SvCD, that?s making a video that you can burn to CDs, so if you don't have a DVD player burner on your system then you may want to use SvCD, otherwise I would just stick to using DVD format."
