"All right, this is Franklin with Expert Village. Again I am talking about how to use Nero. Okay, now a bootable DVD, this is a disk you can boot when you first start your computer. So let's say for instance if you are backing up a program you may want to use a bootable DVD. That means as soon as you pop it into the computer, and you pull it up, people, it will instantly recognize that this is a DVD and it will pull it up and it will start to play the programs. We have a UDF DVD, now the UDF format is what creates a disk that can be read on all forms of Windows operating systems. Now if you have Mac, or other ones you may have a problem. Now the difference between DVD and ISO, some ISO's can not be read on everyone. Now this is to make a UDF ISO DVD, which means that you can bridge the data so that again it can be read on all operating systems that are Windows based operating systems."
