Video Transcript

"Hey everybody! My name is Matt and I'm speaking to you on behalf of Expert Village. Today I'm going to be teaching you about iWork. For those of you who don't know what iWork is, it's a suite of applications. It includes 3 main programs, which are Keynote, Numbers, and Pages. Keynote is the program that I'm in right now, and it's used for creating slide shows and presentations. You've also got Numbers, which is used to create spreadsheets. From your spreadsheet, you can create charts and things based on information in your spreadsheet. Then you've got Pages, which is a word processing program that you can use to create anything from just simple text to books, pamphlets, and things such as that. One of the great things about the iWork suite is that you can pass information back and forth so you can use information from your spreadsheet in your presentation and it makes it really easy to do that. IWork is exclusively for the Mac. If you go to apple.com, you can download it there. There's even a 30-day free trial, which you can use. The program that I'm using, the version is 08. If you've got an older version such as 06, you can probably still learn a lot from these tutorials. Let's go ahead and get started learning how to use iWork. "
