"This is Kyle with Expert Village talking about tips on Premier and we are talking about the history file. Now if you are like me, you are going to make a lot of mistakes when you edit. Everybody does. So what we are going to do here is a sample over in the small right hand side of the corner is your history box. Now your history box, you want to make sure that you can go from one step back all the way up to. It depends on a 100 undo's for the most part but you can click, so as you click through. Now remember if you go way way back and then you undo it all the way through a certain part and you start editing again, you are going to lose all that stuff in between there. So be very careful when you are going through your history file. It can be the best thing in the world because you never know when you are going to mess up and you have to go back and you can undo it or you can do something and you don't like it. So you say, I got to go back. So the history folder is one of the best things to cover up your mistakes. Again, another thing be careful when you are dragging around and you are pulling see right there on the left, I just erased a clip and I just erased another clip. So when you are dragging around just always keep an eye on everything. Not just the line that you are on, but the line above it and the line below and the lines all around because anytime you do something like that and you accidentally hit a clip, you know it is gone so you don't want to mess up that. "
